Quick help

Haptics don’t play

  • Use a **physical iPhone** (Simulator has no Taptic Engine).
  • Turn off Silent / Focus modes that suppress haptics.
  • Start a **Session** (toggle on) for realtime; outside a session use knock notifications.

    • Can’t connect / login

  • Check API base URL in Settings (production HTTPS host).
  • Sign in with Apple: ensure network access.
  • Dev builds may use Dev Login only when the server allows it (not production).

    • Pairing

  • Create a 6-character code on one device; enter it on the other.
  • Deep link: `hapticknock://pair?code=XXXXXX`
  • Each account has one active pair in MVP.

    • Notifications

  • Allow notifications when prompted.
  • Knock alerts open the app and play a pending pattern.

    • Delete account

    Settings → Delete account. This cannot be undone.

    Report a bug

    Include: iOS version, device model, approximate time, and what you expected vs what happened.
